Serving Our Community with Compassion and Care

Snehamanna

Snehamanna is a noble initiative of the Adoor Diocese, providing free breakfast every day (except Sundays) to around 150 patients and their bystanders at the Adoor Taluk Government Hospital. This project was launched on May 1, 2024, in connection with the birthday of the Diocesan President, Rt. Rev. Mathews Mar Seraphim Thirumeni. Since its inception, it has greatly benefited many people.Each day’s breakfast is sponsored by individuals from various parishes within the Diocese.

Ardratha pain and palliative mission was inaugurated on 27th may 2017. In association with Pushpagiri Medical College, Adoor Diocese had conducted training camps for the volunteers. Around 120 volunteers came forward and now they serve at their local units.

Anugraha De-addiction Centre is a prominent initiative operating under the Adoor Diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church. It follows a divine and effective treatment approach that brings new hope to countless families trapped in the grip of addiction, helping them return to normal life. By combining Medical, psychological ( psycho education, therapies, individual counselling, family counselling ) and spiritual approaches, a remarkable and comprehensive treatment system is implemented here.

His Grace The Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan

Mar Theodosius studied at Baselious College, Kottayam (1966) and Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla (1969). After taking a degree in Science he joined Leonard Theological College and took BD Degree in 1972. His ordination as ‘Kasseesa‘ was in the year February 24, 1973.

Rt. Rev. Mathews Mar Seraphim Episcopa

Rt. Rev. Mathews Mar Seraphim Episcopa was born on 1st May 1972 as the son of Kizhakkecherupalathil Sri. Behanan Chandy and Smt. Annamma Chandy of Mallappally Mar Thoma Parish.He completed his B.A. in Economics from N.S.S. Hindu College, Changanassery, and his M.A. in Hindi from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur. He is also an L.L.B. graduate from Hitkarini Law College, Jabalpur.
